Help plant 2,500 plants to increase habitat for our local biodiversity.
Join us with your whanau and/or friends at 8.45 am at the Urquhart Bay car park for a briefing. If you arrive after 9am follow the track past the Gun emplacement towards Home Bay. If you’re not sure where that is, just download the map of the reserve.
Bring some warm clothing, gumboots or solid footwear, raincoat and water. Bring your own spade if you have one. We will provide hot drinks and food. It is really helpful for catering purposes if you can sign up by emailing Jenny via volunteers@breamheadtrust.nz and we will keep you posted of any changes in case we need to change plans for any reason.
We will continue planting on Sunday the 18th if we are unable to plant all the seedlings in one go or when it is raining.
