It was a delight to read in the paper of Robin Lieffering’s, (our past chair of Bream Head Conservation Trust), civic honour award.
We feel that this is very well earned when one considers the amount of time, energy and effort she has willingly applied to the conservation effort at Bream Head alone.
Robin was the chair during the establishment and exploration phase of the development of the BHCT.
Conservation in those days was not as well accepted in the community so Robin’s job at times was rather fraught. or challenging.
However her boundless enthusiasm and energy contributed greatly to the highly productive team of both young and old that now drives BHCT forward.
